A: Yes! You are able to set-up automatic recurring payments utilizing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly schedules and multiple payment methods. Go to “Make A Payment” or contact a First Atlantic Auto Credit customer account representative for more information.
Q: What do I do if I am having trouble accessing the on-line payment system?
A: Please contact a First Atlantic Auto Credit customer account representative or send us a message using “Contact Us” and we will reset your on-line system access password.
Q: What brands of credit/debit cards are accepted?
A: Currently, First Atlantic Auto Credit accepts VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER.
Q: When will my payment be posted?
A: Posting times can vary depending on the payment method used and the time of day received. Most payments are posted on the same day they are received.
Q: Can I defer a payment or change my due date?
A: First Atlantic Auto Credit does not offer payment deferments/extensions, however, due dates may be adjusted based on certain customer circumstances. Please contact a First Atlantic Auto Credit customer account representative to learn more about due date change requirements and guidelines.
Q: How do I obtain a payoff balance for my account?
A: Your payoff balance changes daily. For accuracy purposes, it is best to contact a customer account representative to obtain an accurate payoff balance.
Q: I am trying to improve my credit score. To which Credit Reporting Agencies does First Atlantic Auto Credit currently report?
A: First Atlantic Auto Credit reports customer payment records on a monthly basis to the following credit reporting agencies:

Q: I believe that First Atlantic Auto Credit has reported inaccurate information to the credit reporting agencies. How do I file a dispute?
A: If you feel that we have reported inaccurate information to the credit reporting agencies, there are two ways to file a dispute.
First, you may file a dispute by contacting each of the credit reporting agencies directly by phone or online:

Second, you may file a dispute by contacting First Atlantic Auto Credit directly in writing. The notification of the dispute must contain the following:
- Your accurate name, address, and telephone number
- The account number being disputed
- The specific information that you believe to be inaccurate
- A detailed explanation of why you believe the information is inaccurate
- A copy of the relevant portion of your credit report that you believe is inaccurate and any supporting documentation to support your dispute
Written disputes must be mailed via USPS or other commercial carrier service and cannot be sent by fax or email. All written disputes must be mailed to:

Please be advised that we report to the credit reporting agencies on a monthly basis. It can sometimes take up to 45 days for payments and other account information to be reported. Q: Am I required to obtain vehicle insurance?
A: Your loan agreement requires that you maintain physical damage insurance coverage during the term of your loan. Coverage must include comprehensive and collision protection with a maximum deductible of $500.
Q: What happens if I do not obtain or maintain required insurance coverage?
A: If you do not provide acceptable evidence of physical damage insurance, lender placed coverage referred to as “CPI” will be purchased by First Atlantic Auto Credit to protect our interest in the vehicle. According to the terms of your loan agreement, you will be responsible for paying a monthly charge for this coverage. You always have the option of obtaining comprehensive and collision insurance on your own from an insurance company of your choice or continuing to pay the monthly charge for lender placed coverage referred to as “CPI.” IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT CPI COVERAGE PROTECTS FIRST ATLANTIC AUTO CREDIT’S PHYSICAL INTEREST IN THE VEHICLE ONLY. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY TYPE OF LIABILITY COVERAGE. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING LIABILITY INSURANCE ON THEIR OWN TO SATISFY ANY/ALL STATE LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS.
Q: What should I do if my vehicle is involved in an accident or stolen?
A: If your vehicle has been involved in an accident or stolen, call your local police department first to file a police report and then contact a First Atlantic Auto Credit customer account representative to review your options.
